Mommy and Me Playgroup

Mommy & Me playgroup is open to all moms or caregivers with children from 0 -5 years and new neighbors are welcome. Volunteers are imperative to keeping the playgroup going. For more information, contact Susan Lovett at suslily2000@yahoo.com.

Empty Nesters Calendar

The Empty Nesters were at it again in April…playing bingo after a scrumptious buffet at the golf club. Jack Kondichook won the $25 ERGC gift certificate and Judy Fischle won the coverall game for a $50 gift certificate. There will be a steak cookout at the Kondichooks on June 21. July will find the nesters at Bogart’s for brunch. In August they will go to a Mudcats game and enjoy a great buffet at the Cattails Restaurant. It’s the Longbranch in September, a movie night in October, bowling in November and a Christmas party in December. If you’re new in the neighborhood and have an empty nest, come join this great group for a fun time. Call Helen Cardwell or Sue Warner. Their phone numbers are in the neighborhood directory.

Want to play bridge?
Join the ladies at the clubhouse every second and fourth Thursday of the month, 11:30 for lunch and 12:30 for bridge. Just show up and we'll put your name on the e-mail list.

Up for some Mah-Jongg?
The Mah-Jongg group meets each Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for lunch at the clubhouse followed by Mah-Jongg. It's a fun game and easy to learn. If you'd like to see how it's played, come join us or call Sue Warner (number in neighborhood directory).

Do you know when to hold 'em?
Play Texas Hold 'Em the first Thursday of every month at the home of Judy Fischle, 251 Mediate Dr., at 7:00 pm. Bring an appetizer and join the fun.

Meetings
The Board of Directors meets every fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at the Clubhouse. DATES: October meeting at Holland Methodist Church at 6:00.

The Covenant Enforcement Committee meets every second Wednesday.
